In Lady Gaga's keynote speech at the 2014 South by Southwest Music Festival she revealed to us how unfulfilled she was to amass millions of dollars.  Well, there's always room for political celebrity!  As for her sponsorship with Doritos, she says, "to whoever is writing or saying [negative things about the relationship], you don't know fuck about the state of the music industry."  One thing we like about a big swinging set of tits is that for every pair, they squash the opportunity for countless others.

Gargar also said about art: "I am so deeply passionate about any person that has an artistic spirit, any person that has a talent that they believe in no matter how crazy the idea is. You never know where that crazy idea might lead you. Martin Luther King believed that he could start a revolution without violence. Andy Warhol believed he could turn a soup can into art. Sometimes things that are really strange can save the world."

Let's not forget where Martin Luther King's "crazy" ideas landed him.  He went to jail for the strength of this zaniness and was later assassinated for it.  Let's also not approach the depth of meaning contained in Warhol's portrayal of something mundane repeated over and over again in vibrant color, especially in comparison to Lady Gargar.

So let's pull the knife of beauty and complexity from the heart of artistic endeavor and discuss how much we can sell it for.
